Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten |
We are looking forward to an exciting year. We will be starting a new curriculum this year and believe it will be very beneficial to your child. You can expect to see a lot of change this school year. We look forward to forming a partnership between you and the school that will provide your child the tools they will need for achieving success in Kindergarten and beyond. Let’s make this a year of growth in your child’s social, emotional and academic development. FOR THE WEEK OF January 30 - February 3
We are reading Two Cool Coyotes. We will begin our focus on letter sounds. This week we will focus on the letters are Mm and Ss. In addition, we will work on deleting the beginning sounds in words. Our Concept Words are cactus, desert, dry, rock sand and sun. Our Amazing Words are coyote, howl, invite, mountain, quick and tumble. Our Question of the Week is “What is a desert?”

We will work on creating repeating patterns with color cubes and other objects. We continue to work on identifying and naming numbers.
