Have you ever been sitting in class or at home and wondered what classes you still need to take, when the next SAT or ACT's were, what scholarships are out there, what classes are available to take, or just needed to meet with your counselor but never had the time? Mrs. Melissa Shelton is a proud C.H.Yoe High School graduate with the class of 1984. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in 1988. She then received her Master of Arts degree in Public School Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2006. She has just completed her 15th year in public education in various positions and levels. Mrs. Shelton has been married to her husband, Michael, for 23 years. They have three children Dillon,a freshman at Texas A&M University and Colton, a junior at Yoe High School and Sutton, a eighth grader at Cameron Junior High. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is a current member of TCA (Texas Counseling Association), ACA (American Councelor's Association). Mrs. Shelton feels very blessed to be a part of this community and school district.
